Dear Friend,
I was born in Burnaby, British Columbia, the youngest of three children with two older brothers. With a love of books and classical music passed down from my mom, and a passion for sports inherited from my dad, I grew up in a lively, rambunctious household filled with music of every genre—including my brothers’ rock band, which quite literally shook the house.
A devoted animal lover from birth, I found early joy in reading and writing, carrying a dream that my words might one day matter to others—to make people feel, spark connection, and create meaningful change.
Early in my career, I worked as a freelancer, drawn to the freedom, meeting new people and expanding my writing experience. While juggling diverse projects, studies, and eventually earning a Bachelor’s degree in Music and English, life was full and busy. After my sons were born, I focused on building my career as a full‑time freelance writer -- a decision that led to rewarding journeys and creative paths that continue to stretch me both personally and professionally.
My work often explores themes of facing fears and living without regret—of embracing untried ideas and dreams still untouched. I’m excited to continue expanding my writing journey and hope the best for yours as well.
